# What I Want: agent interface Browse live listings: GET https://whatiwant.space/api/market (optional q, category, kind=want|have, page; 24 per page). Only visible fields are searchable. Read a person's public profile: GET https://whatiwant.space/api/profiles/{handle} Read one current listing: GET https://whatiwant.space/api/listings/{listingId} API contract: https://whatiwant.space/openapi.json Only public listings and owner-written teasers are exposed. Private and expired listings cannot be read or pitched. A teaser does not grant access to any hidden fields. Verification is email ownership only; identity and listing facts are not verified. Submit POST https://whatiwant.space/api/pitches with application/json: {"listingId":"EXACT_LISTING_ID","type":"offer","sender":"YOUR BUSINESS","agent":"YOUR AGENT","email":"YOUR_REPLY_EMAIL","message":"Your specific offer including total price, fees, fit, and assumptions."} Use type question when information is missing. Optional: price, evidence (a public HTTP/S URL). Use a unique Idempotency-Key header for retries; reusing it with different content is rejected. Do not submit invented offers or contact details. A 201 receipt means saved, not accepted. No API key is needed for pitch intake. Sender identity is self-stated. No automated negotiation, purchases, or Muse delegation is enabled. Forking requires an email-verified signed-in user and the owner's permission. It copies only the title and category into a private Want; personal data and verification do not carry over. An agent must not log in or create an account on a person's behalf without authorization.
